ATK Limited Warranty for Remanufactured ENGINES
ATK Corporation and its subsidiaries distribute a broad range of remanufactured automotive and truck replacement products through its company owned and operated locations. Our remanufactured engine line includes gasoline and diesel engines for automobiles, light and medium duty trucks.
What Is Covered
ATK warrants its parts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period indicated from the date of installation PROVIDED the part was (and can be documented) installed by a Licensed Automotive Repair Facility. No-Fault warranty enhancements must be purchased at the time of sale and appear on ATK’s invoice along with the part under warranty consideration.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair if possible,unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repairs or replacement is not possible. Transportation charges for ATK testing on products submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty will be covered by ATK. In the event it is determined that the part must be replaced (after necessary diagnostics), the original part must be returned to ATK for inspection. Denied claims will impact how future warranty claims are handled. Should you wish to know your ultimate inspection results, contact the warranty department 30 days after your unit has been picked up. ATK will only share inspection results upon request.
ATK Remanufactured Engine Warranty
While warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty coverage on ATK Remanufactured Products, doing so will help expedite a claim should one be required. The warranty period begins as of the date of the first installation, or 10 days following the original purchase date – whichever comes first. You can register your product at www.mycarcare.com.
Making A Claim
Warranty service is available through any Licensed Automotive Repair Facility.
To make a claim, you must provide proof of purchase from ATK or from the business which installed the part. ATK at its option will repair, replace the product or refund the purchase price once it determines that the product requires repair or replacement. For a product to be determined defective it must be sent to ATK’s remanufacturing plant for inspection. ATK remanufacturing will schedule the pickup of the product or parts in question and pay for transportation. Any products that are not returned to ATK remanufacturing to undergo inspection will not be covered by this warranty. All repairs and/or replacements to the products must first be authorized by ATK Remanufacturing. ATK will not pay for any unauthorized repairs. Incidental damage caused by the requested repair or by the removal of the product is not covered by the warranty.
Products sent to ATK Remanufacturing for inspection that are deemed not covered under standard warranty will be held in storage for a period of 15 days. Product unclaimed after 15 days will be disposed of by ATK. ATK will immediately dispose of any product for which there is an approved claim.
Any Licensed Automotive Repair Facility (LARF) may perform warranty repairs. Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. If a customer differs with the decision of the ATK Warranty Technician and/or the LARF, an investigation will be made to determine whether the warranty applies. Ask the LARF to submit all supporting facts to ATK for review. If ATK decides that the claim is justified, the customer will be fully reimbursed for those product items that are defective. To avoid misunderstanding which might occur between the customer and ATK/LARF, listed below are some of the causes of engine failure that the standard warranty does not cover.
Normal Wear: Our products, like all mechanical devices, need periodic parts service and replacement to perform correctly. ATK standard warranty would not apply if damage to the product has occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, warranty is void if the serial number of the product has been removed or the product has been altered or modified with aftermarket performance enhancing parts.
Improper Maintenance: The life of a mechanical device depends upon the conditions under which it operates, and the care it receives. Wear, when caused by dirt, dust, spark plug cleaning grit or other abrasive material that has entered the engine because of improper maintenance, is not covered by ATK standard warranty.
Nor does the standard warranty extend to repairs required because of:
- Problems caused by parts that did not come with the assembly. New parts should be used or transferred parts be thoroughly cleaned and inspected to assure they will not cause damage.
- Damage as a result of overheating, lack of lubrication, fuel wash or contamination.
- Damage resulting from pre-Ignition or detonation - Including but not limited to melted or broken pistons, broken piston rings, damaged cylinder heads, leaking head gaskets, etc.
- Repair or replacement required as a result of any accident or misuse.
- Repair or replacement of any accessory or service item, including specifically but not limited to all components of the cooling, fuel, electrical, exhaust and ignition systems in addition to all belts, hoses, bolts, shafts, sensors, switches and filters.
- Any product used for competition, racing or related purposes.
- Any product to which a device or accessory not conforming to original manufacturer’s specifications has been installed.
- Damage as a result of electrolysis, including but not limited to, deterioration of engine components as a result of excessive electrical current.
- Improperly maintained coolant, and/or any product on which periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer have not been performed.
- Crankshaft Thrust Surface worn due to excessive forward pressure placed on the rear of the crankshaft.
- Damage resulting from improper repair(s) or attempted repair(s) by any service technician.
- Leaking carburetors, clogged fuel pipes, sticking valves, or other damage, caused by using contaminated or stale fuel.
- Parts which are scored or broken because an engine was operated with insufficient or contaminated lubricating oil or an incorrect grade of lubricating oil (check and refill when necessary and change at recommended intervals). Engine damage may occur if the oil level is not properly maintained.
- Repair or adjustment of associated parts or assemblies such as clutches and transmissions.
- Damage or wear to parts caused by dirt, which entered the engine because of improper air cleaner maintenance, re-assembly or use of a non-original air cleaner element or cartridge. At recommended intervals, clean and/or replace the filter as stated in the Operator’s Manual.
- Damage or wear to parts caused by dirt, which entered the engine because of improper air cleaner maintenance, re-assembly or use of a non-original air cleaner element or cartridge. At recommended intervals, clean and/or replace the filter as stated in the Operator’s Manual.
- Engine or equipment parts broken by excessive vibration caused by a loose engine mounting, improper attachment of equipment to engine crankshaft or other abuse in operation.
- Lack of routine tune-up or adjustment of the engine.
- Engine or engine component failure, i.e., combustion chamber, valves, valve seats, valve guides or burned starter motor windings, caused by the use of alternate fuels such as, liquefied petroleum, natural gas, altered gasoline, etc.
- Products used in manner that violates the terms of the ATK Owner’s Manual, the installation and break-in procedures below, the OEM owner’s manual, or is used for purposes other than their original intended use.
No ATK warranty shall apply to products installed in recreational vehicles (motor homes). Additionally, products used in competitive racing or on commercial or rental racetracks are not warranted. ATK products are not warranted if used in an application for which they were not engineered e.g., using standard gasoline engines in a marine application. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles other than as indicated.
Labor Payments
Standard warranty: Authorized repairs on approved claims (after factory inspection of returned parts) will be reimbursed at a rate not to exceed the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule. Hourly rates for all authorized repairs will be paid in accordance with the rate paid for the original installation but not to exceed $50.00 an hour or the cost of the original part in total. Do-it yourself repairs, repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, or repairs made to units not originally installed in a LARF will not be reimbursed.
No-Fault Warranty Protection: Authorized repairs on claims will be reimbursed at a rate not to exceed the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule. Hourly rates for all authorized repairs will be paid in accordance with rate paid for the original installation but not to exceed $50.00 an hour. Do-it yourself repairs, repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, or repairs made to units not originally installed in a LARF will not be reimbursed. Labor guarantee under terms of No-Fault Warranty Protection is limited to the first-time failure of the product and in no case will the total labor under the terms of this guarantee EXCEED the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule of hours for R&R engine times $50 per hour.

Hourly rates for all authorized repairs will be paid in accordance with the rate paid for the original installation but not to exceed $95.00 an hour. Do-it yourself repairs, repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, or repairs made to units not originally installed in a LARF will not be reimbursed. Labor guarantee under terms of No-Fault Warranty GOLD is limited to the first-time failure of the product and in no case will the total labor under the terms of this guarantee EXCEED the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule of hours for R&R engine times $95 per hour.
Payment for Parts
Parts on authorized repairs will be reimbursed at the purchase price. Proof of Purchase will be required. Fluid and filter replacement costs will only be reimbursed for the first 2,000 miles of service, (unless No-Fault GOLD policy has been purchased).
Product replaced under warranty carries the remainder of the original product’s warranty term.

- Repair or replacement of any accessory or service item, including specifically but not limited to all components of the cooling, fuel, electrical, exhaust and ignition systems in addition to all belts, hoses, bolts, shafts, sensors, switches and filters.
- Any product used for competition, racing or related purposes.
- Any product to which a device or accessory not conforming to original manufacturer’s specifications has been installed.
- Improperly maintained coolant, and/or any periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer that have not been performed.
- Damage resulting from improper repair(s) or attempted repair(s) by any service technician.
- Lack of OE recommended periodic transmission flushing.
- Products used for purposes other than their original intended use.
No ATK warranty shall apply to products installed on any class A, B, or C recreational vehicles (motor homes). Additionally, products used in competitive racing or on commercial or rental racetracks are not covered under this warranty. ATK products are not warranted if used in an application for which they were not engineered e.g., using standard transmissions in a heavy-duty application.

Hourly rates for all authorized repairs will be paid in accordance with rate paid for the original installation but not to exceed $50.00 an hour or the total cost of the original part in total. Do-it yourself repairs, repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, or repairs made to units not originally installed in a LARF will not be reimbursed.
Payment for Parts
Parts on authorized repairs will be reimbursed at the purchase price. Proof of Purchase will be required. Fluid replacement costs are not allowed under standard warranty coverage.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

ATK LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REMANUFACTURED REAR AXLE ASSEMBLIES
ATK North America and its subsidiaries distribute a broad range of remanufactured automotive and truck replacement products. Our remanufactured rear axle line includes units for automobiles and light/medium duty trucks.
What Is Covered
ATK warrants its parts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period indicated from the date of installation PROVIDED the part was (and can be documented) installed by a Licensed Automotive Repair Facility.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair if possible, unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repairs or replacement is not possible. Transportation charges for ATK testing on products submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty will be covered by ATK. In the event it is determined that the part must be replaced (after necessary diagnostics), the original part must be returned to ATK for inspection. Denied claims will impact how future warranty claims are handled. Should you wish to know your ultimate inspection results, contact the warranty department 30 days after your unit has been picked up. ATK will only share inspection results upon request.
While warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty coverage on ATK Remanufactured Products, doing so will help expedite a claim should one be required. The warranty period begins as of the date of the first installation, or 10 days following the original purchase date – whichever comes first. You can register your product at www.mycarcare.com.
Warranty service is available through any Licensed Automotive Repair Facility.
To make a claim, you must provide proof of purchase from ATK or from the business which installed the part. ATK at its option will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price once it is determined that the product requires repair or replacement. For a product to be determined defective it must be sent to ATK’s remanufacturing plant for inspection. Any products that are not returned to ATK remanufacturing to undergo inspection will not be covered by this warranty. All repairs and/or replacements to the products must first be authorized by ATK ATK Remanufactured Rear Axle Warranty Revised 11/24 Remanufacturing. ATK will not pay for any unauthorized repairs. Incidental damage caused by the requested repair or by the removal of the product is not covered by the warranty.
Products sent to ATK Remanufacturing for inspection that are deemed not covered under standard warranty will be held in storage for a period of 15 days. Product unclaimed after 15 days will be disposed of by ATK. ATK will immediately dispose of any product for which there is an approved claim.
Any Licensed Automotive Repair Facility (LARF) may perform warranty repairs. Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. If a customer differs with the decision of the ATK Warranty Technician and/or the LARF, an investigation will be made to determine whether the warranty applies. Ask the LARF to submit all supporting facts to ATK for review. If ATK decides that the claim is justified, the customer will be fully reimbursed for those items that are defective. To avoid misunderstanding which might occur between the customer and ATK/LARF, listed below are some of the causes of Rear Axle failure that the standard warranty does not cover.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Normal Wear: Our products, like all mechanical devices, need periodic parts service and replacement to perform correctly. ATK standard warranty would not apply if damage to the product has occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, warranty is void if the serial number of the product has been removed or the product has been altered or modified with aftermarket performance enhancing parts.
Improper Maintenance: The life of a mechanical device depends upon the conditions under which it operates, and the care it receives. Wear, when caused by fluid breakdown, dirt, debris, or other abrasive material that has entered the rear axle assembly because of improper maintenance, is not covered by ATK standard warranty.
Nor does the standard warranty extend to repairs required because of:
- Problems caused by parts that are not ATK parts - including but not limited to parts outside of the Rear Axle Assembly.
- Damage as a result of overheating , lack of lubrication, or contamination.
- Repair or replacement required as a result of any accident or misuse.
- Improper installation and/or failure to follow included installation instructions and/or recommended break-in procedures.
- Any product used for competition, racing or related purposes.
- Any product to which a device or accessory not conforming to original manufacturer’s specifications has been installed.
- Improperly maintained fluid, and/or any product on which periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer have not been performed.
- Damage resulting from improper repair(s) or attempted repair(s) by any service technician.
- Products used in manner that violates the terms of the ATK Owner’s Manual, the installation and the OEM owner’s manual, or is used for purposes other than their original intended use.
NO ATK warranty shall apply to products used in competitive racing or on commercial or rental race tracks. ATK products are not warranted if used in an application for which they were not engineered e.g., off road or high rail applications
Labor Payments
Standard warranty: Authorized repairs on approved claims (after factory inspection of returned parts) will be reimbursed at the Mitchell Repair Manual published applicable flat rate schedule. Hourly rates for all authorized repairs will not exceed $50.00 an hour or the total cost of the original part in total. Do-it yourself repairs, repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities, or repairs made to units not originally installed in a LARF will not be reimbursed.
Parts on authorized repairs will be reimbursed at the purchase price. Proof of Purchase will be required. Fluid replacement costs are not allowed under standard warranty coverage – Only No-Fault GOLD carries a provision for fluid.
Product replaced under warranty carries the remainder of the original product’s warranty term.

Remanufactured Batteries
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REMANUFACTURED BATTERIES
ATK North America distributes a broad range of new and remanufactured Hybrid batteries. Our batteries are remanufactured exclusively for light duty non-commercial hybrid applications.
What Is Covered
ATK Remanufacturing warrants its parts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period indicated from the date of ATK Remanufacturing invoice PROVIDED the part was installed by a Licensed Automotive Repair Facility – (LARF) or factory approved remote installer.

Your warranty begins on the date of unit sale. Delay in unit installation will not extend the warranty term and may void the warranty – see limitations below.
SHOULD YOU NEED WARRANTY SERVICE OR ASSISTANCE
All warranty service requests will be handled by the ATK product support team at 877-777-7290. If the unit has failed, ATK will ask for verification and photo documentation of all Diagnostic Trouble Codes from all vehicle computer modules, including Powertrain Control Module, Battery Energy Control Module, Engine Control Module, Transmission Control Module, Body Control Module, and ABS Control Module.
Following the review of the information provided, the product support department will determine cause of failure. If the failure is caused from the product supplied by ATK, a replacement battery will be provided at no charge to the customer. ATK will not be responsible for any towing or diagnostic expenses. Labor reimbursement dependent upon factory inspection.
**Should the customer not have the means to diagnose the problem or retrieve trouble codes. The vehicle can be taken to a licensed repair shop or dealership. Our product support team can then work with the respective representative at the repair facility.
WARRANTY SERVICE IS AVAILABLE FROM ANY LICENSED REPAIR FACILITY
To make a claim, you must provide proof of purchase from ATK or from the business which installed the part. If the failure occurred during the applicable warranty term, ATK at its option will repair the product, replace the product, or refund the purchase price once it determines that the product requires repair or replacement. For a product to be replaced, it must meet necessary diagnostic trouble codes that relate to an HV or IMA battery failure. If replaced, ATK will require that the part be returned for factory evaluation to determine if the failure was due to parts or workmanship. ATK will schedule the pickup of the product in question and pay for transportation. Any products that are not returned to ATK to undergo inspection will not be eligible for warranty labor consideration and will carry no further warranty coverage. All repairs and/or replacements to the products must first be authorized by ATK. ATK will not pay for any unauthorized repairs. Incidental damage caused by the requested repair or by the removal of the product is not covered by the warranty.
To avoid misunderstanding which might occur between the customer and ATK/LARF, listed below are some of the causes of battery failure that the standard warranty does not cover.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
- Improper installations
- Products unused for an extended period. Hybrid batteries must be “cycled” to remain operational. Inactivity for a period of thirty (30) days or more may permanently damage your battery and will not be covered under this warranty. This could apply to delayed installation or vehicle inactivity.
- Removal or damage to the warranty “seal” indicating the unit cover has been opened or removed.
- Installation or use of battery outside of the vehicle make model or year for which it was originally designed.
- Damage to the vehicle or battery due to accident, flood, fire, or other incidents clearly outside of normal operating conditions.
- Units installed in commercial applications.
- Unit warranty shall only cover repairs or replacements to the vehicle in which the battery was originally installed.
- Vehicles stored for 30 days or more
- Vehicles driven less than 2,500 miles per year
- Physical damage occurring after battery delivery
- Modifications or bypasses of vehicle systems not in line with manufacturer specifications
- Damage due to stalling engine or driving when the engine is not operating properly, indicated by but not limited to the diagnostic trouble codes (P0A0F, P0AB9, P3190, P3191, P3193, P1196, P0101, P0102, P0505)
ADDITIONAL TERMS
- The warranty is not transferable to any other vehicle or owner except where required by law.
- The warranty becomes null and void if the vehicle is totaled in an accident or otherwise written off.
- If a battery is found to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, the battery will be replaced free of charge following confirmation of hybrid battery failure through diagnostic review.
PRODUCT REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY CARRIES THE REMAINDER OF THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY TERM

Remanufactured High Performance Engines
ATK LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REMANUFACTURED HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINES
ATK Corporation and its subsidiaries distribute a broad range of new, recycled, remanufactured and reconditioned automotive and truck replacement products through its company owned and independent distributor locations. Our remanufactured High Performance Engines includes units for cars and light trucks.

All remanufactured High performance engines are warranted against defects in workmanship and material for the period shown above. The warranty term begins on the date of shipment (not the installation date). A warranty claim number and return goods authorization must be issued by ATK before any repairs are begun. Authorized repair or replacement of original unit does not extend warranty period. Repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of the Seller.
EXCLUSIONS:
This warranty applies to products originally supplied by ATK. This warranty does not apply to or include any of the following:
- Any product used for competition, racing or related purposes.
- Damage as a result of installer error.
- Damage resulting from OVERHEATING, LACK OF LUBRICATION, or CONTAMINATION.
- Damage resulting from PRE-IGNITION or DETONATION. This includes but is not limited to melted or broken piston, broken piston rings, damaged cylinder heads, leaking head gaskets, etc.
- Foreign objects entering the cylinder creating damage to pistons, cylinder walls, etc. ATK Remanufactured HP Warranty Revised 11.24
- Broken crankshafts, broken connecting rods, broken or damaged piston rings, broken valve train resulting from excessive RPM.
- A crankshaft thrust surface that is worn due to excessive forward pressure placed on the rear of the crankshaft.
- Repair or replacement required as a result of any accident or misuse.
- Repair or replacement of any accessory or service item, including specifically but not limited to all components of the cooling, fuel, electrical, and ignition systems including belts, hoses, and filters.
- Replacement of any aftermarket part used in the engine. ATK is not responsible for defective parts supplied by aftermarket companies that may have been used in the build process such as (Distributors, Carburetors, Lifters/Valve Train, Water Pumps, Fuel Pumps, and Oil Pumps etc.) Most of the parts will carry their own warranty through the proper vendor.
This warranty is not transferable. Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair, if possible, unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.
LIMITED WARRANTY LABOR:
ATK authorized repairs will be compensated at a rate not to exceed the Mitchell Repair Manual’s published applicable flat rate schedule. Hourly rates for all authorized labor claims will be paid in accordance with the original installation rate, not to exceed $95.00 per flat rate hour per Mitchell book time or comparable application. ATK does not pay extra hours due to the type of vehicle or extra work needed due to customization, show cars, etc. Do-it-yourself installation or repairs performed by unlicensed repair facilities DO NOT qualify for labor reimbursements
Remanufactured Industrial Engines
ATK LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REMANUFACTURED INDUSTRIAL ENGINES
ATK Corporation and its subsidiaries distributes a broad range of new, recycled, remanufactured and reconditioned automotive and truck replacement products through its company owned and operated locations. Our remanufactured Industrial engines are designed for industrial applications performing as stationary power units.
All remanufactured Industrial Engines are warranted against defects in workmanship and material for a period of 3 months or 2000 hours, whichever occurs first. A warranty claim number and return goods authorization must be issued by ATK before any repairs are begun. Authorized repair or replacement of original unit does not extend warranty period. Repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of the Seller.
Warranty term begins on date of installation or within 10 days of original purchase date (from Approved Distibutor).
EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover damage due to abuse, neglect, accidental breakage externally or internal gear breakage, lack of lubrication, excessive heat, incorrect fluid, or use for any purpose other than originally intended. In no event shall the Seller be held responsible for any consequential or incidental damages from the use of a product or improper installation. This warranty does not cover miscellaneous expenses or lost income from loss of use. External parts are buyer’s responsibility to replace/maintain with certified installations. Warranty is not transferable. Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair if possible, unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.
Units that fail in service within the warranty “window” shall be determined to be defective in parts or workmanship after an inspection is made by ATK. Units found to be defective shall be replaced at no additional charge and labor paid per the allowance below.

WHAT IS COVERED
ATK warrants its parts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period indicated from the date of installation PROVIDED the part was (and can be documented) installed by a Licensed Automotive Repair Facility.
All remanufactured cylinder heads are warranted against defects in workmanship and material for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. A warranty claim number and return goods authorization must be issued by ATK before any repairs/replacements are made. Authorized repair or replacement of original unit does not extend warranty period.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair if possible, unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.

- 1. Problems caused by parts that are not supplied with the assembly - including but not limited to parts outside of the long block.
- Damage as a result of overheating, lack of lubrication, fuel wash or contamination.
- Damage resulting from pre-Ignition or detonation - Including but not limited to melted or broken pistons, broken piston rings, warped cylinder heads, leaking head gaskets, etc.
- Repair or replacement required as a result of any accident or misuse.
- Repair or replacement of any accessory or service item, including specifically but not limited to: all components of the cooling, fuel, electrical, exhaust and ignition systems in addition to all belts, hoses, bolts, shafts, sensors, switches and filters.
- Any product used for competition, racing or related purposes.
- Any product to which a device or accessory which does not conform to original manufacturer’s specifications has been installed.
- Damage as a result of electrolysis, including but not limited to, deterioration of engine components as a result of excessive electrical current.
- Improperly maintained coolant, and/or any product on which periodic maintenance services required by the original manufacturer have not been performed.
- Damage resulting from improper repair(s) or attempted repair(s) by any service technician.
- Leaking carburetors, clogged fuel pipes, sticking valves, or other damage, caused by using contaminated or stale fuel.
- Parts which are scored or broken because an engine was operated with insufficient or contaminated lubricating oil or an incorrect grade of lubricating oil (check and refill when necessary, and change at recommended intervals). Engine damage may occur if oil level is not properly maintained.
- Damage or wear to parts caused by dirt, which entered the engine because of improper air cleaner maintenance, reassembly or use of a non-original air cleaner element or cartridge. At recommended intervals, clean and/or replace the filter as stated in the Operator’s Manual.
- Lack of routine tune-up or adjustment of the engine.
- Engine or engine component failure, i.e., combustion chamber, valves, valve seats, valve guides or burned starter motor windings, caused by the use of alternate fuels such as, liquefied petroleum, natural gas, altered gasoline, etc.
- Products used in manner that violates the terms of the ATK Owner’s Manual, the installation and break-in procedures below, the OEM owner’s manual, or is used for purposes other than their original intended use.
No ATK warranty shall apply to products installed on any class A recreational vehicles (motor homes). Class B and C recreational vehicles will carry standard warranty as outlined above. Additionally, products used in competitive racing or on commercial or rental race tracks are not warranted. ATK products are not warranted if used in an application for which they were not engineered e.g., using standard gasoline engines in a marine application.

ATK LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REMANUFACTURED MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS
ATK Corporation and its subsidiaries distributes a broad range of new, recycled, remanufactured and reconditioned automotive and truck replacement products through its company owned and operated locations. Our remanufactured transmission line includes manual transmissions for automobile, light and medium duty trucks.

In no event shall the Seller be held responsible for any consequential or incidental damages from the use of a product or improper installation. Original manufacturer’s maintenance schedules must be maintained by buyer with records available upon request of Seller. This warranty does not cover towing, car rental, meals, fluids, lost wages, lodging, labor, miscellaneous expenses or lost income from loss of vehicle use. External parts, sensors, speed sensors, and electrical wiring are buyer’s responsibility to replace/maintain with certified installations. Warranty is not transferable. Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair if possible, unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Coverage for passenger cars and trucks is 24 month/24,000 miles.
Labor expense for removal and replacement, when included as part of the warranty, will be calculated from the Chilton/Mitchell/Motors manual for hourly time guides at the factory approved rate. Hourly rate for ASE certified technician is $50.00 per hour and non-certified technician is $30.00 per hour with the total maximum labor capped at $300.00.
Remanufactured Steering Components

ATK Corporation and its subsidiaries distributes a broad range of new, recycled, remanufactured and reconditioned automotive and truck replacement products through its company owned and operated locations. Our remanufactured power steering line includes complete rack and pinion assemblies for automobiles and light/medium duty trucks, as well as steering gear assemblies for medium/heavy truck applications.

Remanufactured Turbochargers
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR REMANUFACTURED TURBOCHARGERS
ATK Remanufacturing produces automotive turbochargers. Our remanufactured turbochargers are an ideal low-cost alternative to OE new product should your unit need to be replaced. This document outlines the warranty that applies to ATK remanufactured turbocharger assemblies.
WHAT IS COVERED
ATK Remanufacturing warrants its parts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period indicated from the date of installation PROVIDED the part was (and can be documented) installed by a Licensed Automotive Repair Facility – (LARF). Do it yourself installations made by non-qualified persons are not covered under the terms of this warranty.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this warranty, ATK’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to, at ATK’s option and in this order; in field/in chassis repair if possible, unit replacement if necessary, or a refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible. Transportation charges for ATK testing on products submitted for repair or replacement under this warranty will be covered by ATK. In the event it is determined that the part must be replaced (after necessary diagnostics), the original part must be returned to ATK for inspection. Denied claims will impact how future warranty claims are handled. Should you wish to know your ultimate inspection results, contact the warranty department 30 days after your unit has been picked up. ATK will only share inspection results upon request.
While warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty coverage on ATK Remanufactured Products, doing so will help expedite a claim should one be required. The warranty period begins as of the date of the first installation, or 10 days following the original purchase date – whichever comes first. You can register your product at www.mycarcare.com.
SHOULD YOU NEED WARRANTY SERVICE
Contact who sold you the part. They will take the necessary information to start a claim on your behalf. You will be instructed to get the vehicle to a licensed repair facility who will be able to make the replacement (if required). After our technician discusses the issue, and directs testing as required, a decision will be made to repair or replace the product.
Product replacement if required and approved will be provided at no charge to the customer. ATK will not be responsible for any towing or diagnostic expenses. Labor reimbursement for replacement is not available under the terms of this warranty.
WARRANTY SERVICE IS AVAILABLE FROM ANY LICENSED REPAIR FACILITY
To make a claim, you must provide proof of purchase from ATK or from the business which installed the part. If the failure occurred during the applicable warranty term, ATK at its option will replace the product, or refund the purchase price once it determines that the product requires repair or replacement. If replaced, ATK will require that the part be returned for factory evaluation to determine if the failure was due to parts or workmanship. ATK will schedule the pickup of the product in question and pay for transportation. All replacements to the ATK Remanufacturing Turbo Charger Warranty Revised 11124 products must first be authorized by ATK. ATK will not pay for any unauthorized repairs. Incidental damage caused by the requested repair or by the removal of the product is not covered by the warranty.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
- Improper installations
- Installation or use of the turbocharger outside of the vehicle make model or year for which it was originally designed.
- Damage to the vehicle or turbo charger due to accident, flood, fire, or other incidents clearly outside of normal operating conditions.
- Units installed in heavy duty commercial applications.
- Failure of other engine components
PAYMENT FOR PARTS
Parts required to make authorized repairs (if sourced locally) will be reimbursed at the purchase price. Proof of Purchase will be required.
PRODUCT REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY CARRIES THE REMAINDER OF THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY TERM

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY AND DO NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
